Started my nursing career in 1996 as an RN in a medical oncology floor.
In 2001, I was promoted to the position of NM to an oncology floor.
In 2007, I received my MSN and 2008, I was promoted to Nurse Quality Manager
My history with Magnet goes back to 2009 when AUBMC was designated as a Magnet hospital. Since then, I was highly involved in DDCT preparation along with providing evidence to many SOEs in addition to EOs.
In March 2021,I assumed the responsibility of Magnet Program Coordinator
