The documentation submission for the Magnet Recognition Program® appraisal includes presentation of data related to Nurse Satisfaction, Nurse-sensitive Clinical Indicators, and Patient Satisfaction with Nursing. This live, interactive webinar will discuss the requirements for display of these data in the Organizational Overview, as well as the task of demonstrating outperformance of the national benchmark database for the relevant Empirical Outcome Sources of Evidence (EP3EO, EP32EO, and EP35EO). This presentation also includes an explanation of the phrase, “outperformance of the benchmarked database mean or median”. Christine Curto, MS, BSN, RN, IBCLC is a Senior Magnet Program Analyst for the ANCC’s Magnet Recognition Program®. In her Analyst role, Ms. Curto provides operational support to health care organizations seeking the Magnet® credential. She further acts as a resource regarding the Magnet Recognition Program® and its requirements. Ms. Curto has 33 years of nursing experience in the private sector and the Navy Nurse Corps, encompassing adult, maternal-child and pediatric clinical practice in critical care, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Ms. Curto has also held various administrative and leadership positions.
